Turning Family Challenges
into Clarity, Advocacy, and Support
Abby genuinely cares about the families she supports and brings a deeply thoughtful, family-first approach to her legal work. As an advocate for healthy families and children, she helps clients navigate separation, divorce, and family law matters while empowering them to understand their options and have a voice throughout the process. Her perspective is both professional and personal. Having experienced a breakdown in her own family unit during her youth, Abby understands how complicated and devastating marital breakdowns can be. That experience shaped her commitment to resolution-focused guidance and finding healthier ways to move families forward.
Called to the British Columbia Bar in 2012, Abby has appeared before the Provincial Court, Supreme Court, and Court of Appeal. Her work includes family law matters, personal injury claims, and civil sexual assault claims. She is also registered through the International Academy of Collaborative Professionals and is a certified Legal Coach, bringing both strong advocacy and collaborative problem-solving to her clients.
Beyond her practice, Abby is deeply involved in community and legal advocacy. She has volunteered with the Federation of Asian Canadian Lawyers, the Canadian Bar Association Women Lawyers’ Forum, Rise Women’s Legal Centre, Battered Women’s Support Services, and Amici Curiae Friends of Court. In 2024, she joined the Peter A. Allard School of Law as a guest lecturer in family law.
Abby has been recognized with the A Woman of Worth Leader of the Year Award 2023, nominated for the YWCA Women of Distinction Awards 2023 and RBC Canadian Women Entrepreneurs Awards 2025, and named in the 2026 edition of Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch in Canada™ for Family Law.
When she is not guiding families through her legal work, Abby enjoys snowboarding, bike riding, coaching her daughter’s baseball team, and spending time with her family.
